Bekonscot Model Village

Be a giant in a miniature wonderland depicting rural England in the 1930's. Originally constructed in 1929 by a London accountant, Roland Callingham, as a hobby, for over 70 years all profits have been given to charity. As well as the Model Village, Bekonscot boasts the finest Gauge I railway open to the public in the British Isles, so, if you are a model train enthusiast this is the place for you. There is something for everyone, whether fascinated by model making, interested in a flavour of 1930's rural England, an ardent gardener, inspired photographer, a child at heart or just want to relax away from the harsh relities of life.
